Delivering in Bracknell and adjacent areas. We have been trading for over 25 years, and are a leading supplier of timber, building materials and bathrooms to both the trade and public.
Job Overview
Assist suppliers with offloading deliveries into the yard
Assist customers
Jubilee drivers and other members of staff, with the loading of goods from the yard/warehouse
Responsibilities and Duties
Keep the yard tidy and orderly at all times ensuring that there are no tripping hazards, or danger from falling or protruding items.
Offload supplier\'s lorries and put away stock in correct locations.
Load Jubilee vehicles when necessary.
Assisting customers in loading goods purchased.
Monitor the movement of traffic in the yard to ensure that no persons in the yard or in vehicles are in danger of collision or injury.
Observe the Company\'s health and safety procedures at all times. Especially when using equipment such as forklift trucks and JCB loader.
Ensure correct PPE is worn at all times for example protective boots, high visibility jackets, helmets, dust masks and gloves as instructed by your supervisor.
Deliver goods to site when required on the small truck.
Skills & Experience
Hold a current driving licence
Have good customer service skills
Ability to take instructions and work under minimal supervision
Ability to work well under pressure
Flexible
Be able to prioritise the workload effectively
Have a good knowledge and understanding of the health and safety policy and procedures at all times
Hold a current and valid forklift license
Hours Monday-Friday 7am-4pm and alternative Saturdays 8am-12.30pm
