About you
This role is key to the day to day running of the centre and we are looking for someone who can add value to our business.
You will be able to either ski or snowboard at an advanced level, preferably both. You will need to be able to assess and coach new and existing instructors and improve their skills through our weekly instructor training programme.
This role is not just about your ability to ski or board, a large part involves the management of the ski instructors, Leisure Assistants and the snow sports programmes. In order to do this, you must be able to demonstrate a highly positive and proactive and systematic approach, the ability to be able to give constructive and clear feedback to instructors, leisure assistants and management, and the ability to promote the products and services of the centre, as well as manage a team. Liaising with and expanding existing clubs, schools and universities business.
You will need to have excellent IT and organisational skills to manage day to day admin and our booking system EZ-Runner.
Ideally you will have a minimum of 2 years supervisory or management experience and must have ski or snowboard qualifications, coupled with a Passion for the sport.

Llandudno Snowsports Centre is currently recruiting Leisure Assistants (18yrs +) on a casual basis.
This is a varied role which includes the following responsibilities...
-Reception cover including sales, bookings, dealing with customers face to face and over the phone
-Ski technician (issue ski and snowboard equipment)
-Toboggan Operator
-Supervising Sno-Tube sessions
-Some housekeeping cleaning duties, cleaning bins, litter picks, and general maintenance
You will be the face of JNL Llandudno Snowsports Centre! Therefore, the successful applicant must have great customer service skills and be able to deal with our customers everyday needs.
Working in a busy environment you will be proactive and enthusiastic in regards to outdoor tourism. You will enjoy being part of a team and have great communication skills.
All applicants must be available to work evenings and weekend hours as this is often our busiest time. Shift start and finish times will vary to enable us to cover between 8.30am and 10:00pm.
Hourly rate will be between £10.00 and £12.21 depending on age.
Previous experience is advantageous but not essential as full training will be given.
